Here at Lego Building Instructions in my opening gambit called simply: Lego Building Instructions, I introduced the blog and what I'll be doing with it. One of the things that I'll be writing about as I go will be anything of interest that I come across in the world of lego, lego building and any form of instructional or educational material that may or may not be useful to the reader.
Here, I discovered a product that is available to buy (yes, on eBay!) called Lego Creator.
This comes as a PC CD package and is meant for ages 8 and upwards. Here's what it does and what you should expect out of the package.
Lego Creator software is designed to provide a unique 3-D construction environment with what amounts to an endless supply of real Lego bricks. Lego Creator's fairly easy to use interface combines with your own imagination to really go places. You can combine finished models in order to create your own virtual Lego worlds that you can then set about exploring. A combination of animation effects, action bricks and your own creativity make Lego Creator a great deal of fun for everyone.
Here's what you can do with it:
You can build and play with unlimited 3-D Lego bricks in a virtual environment and combine finished models to create your own Lego worlds. You can then explore your newly created Lego world by driving or flying around in Lego vehicles that you've created.
As for equipment, there are the usual action bricks including hinges, rotors, lights and those great Destructa bricks. You can even experience your Lego world by exploring it at night for some great effects. Navigate and explore your world from the viewpoint of a mini-figure or a Lego camera. Then generate and print your own building instructions which you can share with your friends.
Another great feature is that you can switch freely between playing and building modes and bring your Lego creations to life by adding a whole host of special functions. There is a friendly wizard that will teach you more tricks you can use, while you populate your world with mini-figures and build the vehicles of your choice, then take to the skys as you fly them or drive around in them on the ground.
This is a pretty cool piece of software and teaches lots of new tricks and gives you plenty of ideas if you're ever stuck with what to do with your Lego!

Lego Building Instructions
Welcome to Lego Building Instructions, my blog that is destined to make a huge crater in the world of Lego. Building instructions are not all that hard to come by these days online, so the very reason for this blog's existance is not purely based on providing cutting edge Lego building instructions for the enthusiast or plain old tinkerer like me.
There's enough of them around to make this a complete damp squib, so in order to justify its reason for being I've branched out and done what not too many other bloggers are doing right now. That's providing a cool live link to eBay's Lego collectors listings so that when you've gotten sick of reading my boring babble, you can head over and click on an item that's for sale in the auction on teh right and bid on it if you want.
Yep, you can do that. It won't cost you a dime either, as the service is completely complimentary. Its live, in real time (you can test that theory our by refreshing this page every few minutes and watch the "time left" counters go down!
If that appeals to you, then just do it. Don't wait for me to say so or you'll be here reading my rotten ramblings all day and get nowhere fast. Well, ok, maybe that's being a little harsh on myself. I'm probably not that boring, but then when was the last time you arranged a crazy, party-filled exciting weekend with a bunch of lego enthusiasts.
I rest my case...
Ok, I'll be posting some Lego building instructions then... in a later post. I have to keep some suspense going here or you'll never come back!
Until next time...
